Called several times regarding My Medicaid application….

Medicaid-QuestionQ) I have come to your office and called several times regarding My Medicaid application. The front office staff has been rude and not helpful. When I requested a supervisor I was transferred to a voice-mail with no name or contact information. I have called 210-212-6986 everyday and several times a day and the phone has continually rang for 10 min or more. Somebody please help me.

A) I understand your frustration. It is not acceptable for you to be treated rudely by the front office staff, and it is also unacceptable that you have been unable to reach a supervisor. I would be happy to help you with your Medicaid application.

Here are a few things you can do:

  1. Try calling the office again at a different time of day. The office may be busier during certain hours, so calling at a time when there are fewer people calling may help you get through to someone sooner.
  2. Try calling the office from a different phone. If you are calling from a cell phone, try calling from a landline. If you are calling from a landline, try calling from a cell phone. Sometimes, the phone system can be finicky and may work better with one type of phone than another.
  3. Try emailing the office. You can find the email address for the office on their website.
  4. Try visiting the office in person. If you are able to visit the office in person, you may be able to speak to someone who can help you with your application.

If you are still unable to get through to someone, you can try contacting your state’s Medicaid office. Your state’s Medicaid office can help you with your application and can also provide you with information about Medicaid eligibility and benefits.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
