Ashland KY Medicaid – Food Stamp – Welfare (DCBS) Office “Department for Community Based Services” administrates your local program under Kentucky State guidelines. Medicaid provides health care for low income people. Welfare program give assistance to those who have little or no income. While Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Food Stamps helps low-income families buy food.

Online: Using the COMPASS website, you can apply for MA and many other services that can help you make ends meet.
Telephone: Call the Consumer Service Center for Health Care Coverage at 1-866-550-4355.
In-Person: You can contact your local county assistance office (CAO).
