Just moved to Oklahoma from oakgrove Louisiana and yall was paying my premium for my medicare trying to get Oklahoma to pay for it now can u help me
I’m sorry to hear that you have moved to Oklahoma and are having trouble with your Medicare premium. I have searched the web for some information that might help you.
According to the Oklahoma Human Services website people who are eligible for Medicare Part A and/or Part B may also qualify to have Medicaid pay their Medicare premiums, co-payments and deductibles as a Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB), a Qualified Disabled and Working Individual (QDWI) or a Specified Low Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB). People who have an income that is too high to be eligible for Medicaid may still be eligible to have their Medicare premiums paid as Qualifying Individuals (QI-1).
To apply for these programs, you need to contact your local OKDHS office or call (405) 521-3679. You can also use the Medicare Eligibility Tool to check your eligibility online.
If you are looking for a Medicare Advantage plan, which is a type of private health plan that offers Medicare benefits, you have several options in Oklahoma.
