My 21 yr old son and his 19 yr old pregnant wife are relocating from California to Oklahoma City. They have California food stamps, MediCal and will need the same benefits in OKC, along with some cash benefits to pay for housing. Will they qualify? Where should they go?
I applied for medicaid on Healthcare. Gov and they said Im not eligible for Medicaid OR a jealthcare tax credit. It said something about me being married and filing a seperate return. I have not lived with my husband since 2004! My son told me he is on Disability anyway. I have been enemployed since Nov. 21, 2014. My unemployment benefits ran out at the end of March 21,2015. I pay rent where I live and am responsible for all my own bills and my food.
I was taken to the ER March 28th for dangerously high blood pressure I stayed overnight in the hospital. I have Hypertriglyceridemia and Malignant Hypertension. Then a couple weeks later I was admitted again for a couple days. This time they said it’s Unstable Angina.
I now have over $24,000.00 in hospital bills, no job and no unemployment! If I dont continue medical care I will end up dying. I cant get it because I have no way to pay.
If I’m not eligible to get Medicaid THEN WHO IS? I have no way to buy the $350.00 in medication I need so I dont have a heart attack. Please explain this to me
