My mother has turned in all her verification forms for renewal of her medicaid coverage, how do she make sure that she is enrolled and covered by medicaid?
Most states offer a Secure Recipient Portal where you can check your mother’s eligibility status with Medicaid. You can also call your State Medical Assistance (Medicaid) office for more information and to see if she has been approved. You can also call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227) to get the phone number for your state’s Medicaid office. TTY users can call 1-877-486-2048.
