Hi Nicole, I understand you’re waiting for your TX Medicaid card and your mail is currently stopped. Unfortunately, you cannot pick up your Medicaid card at an office. Here are a couple of options:
Print a Temporary Card Online: You can access your Your Texas Benefits account (https://www.yourtexasbenefits.com/ytb/Public/login) and print a temporary Medicaid card. This will act as proof of eligibility until your physical card arrives.
Here’s a quick guide:
Login to Your Texas Benefits account (create one if you haven’t already).
Go to “Manage” and select “Medicaid & CHIP Services” from the “Quick Links” section.
Click on “View services and available health information”.
Choose your name from the dropdown menu (if applicable).
Locate the “Medicaid Benefits” section. This will display information about your plan and doctor. You can print this page for reference.
Request a Replacement Card: If you cannot access your online account or prefer a physical card, you can request a replacement through Your Texas Benefits. Contact them at 2-1-1 or 877-541-7905.
