It is my understanding that my wife and I are not eligible for Medicaid since our incomes are more than Medicaid threshold. With that in mind we agreed to file for devorice to make her eligible for Medicaid. The divorce will be finalized in about six weeks. Her income from social security is $877. per month. Can I file for Medicaid for her now?
