I applied for food stamps and Medicaid in August and have not heard anything yet. I tried calling the welfare office and they transfer me to the worker who started my case but she never answers her phone and mailbox is always full. How do I find out what’s is going on with my case?
My Mom is 92 and lives in assisted living home(memorycare) in NJ. She owns a home in Florida and has a Lady Bird Deed for this home. In Florida I’m told her home is exempt from an asset for Medicaid, does this apply if she is living in NJ?
