I’m currently not employed and I am receiving workers compensation checks everyweek,but the checks will stop as soon as my treating injury doctor releases to work somewhere again. I don’t have any other health insurance eventhough last job offered insurance of the Hippa plan. I can’t afford it since it has extremely more than trippled to obtain it;which I can’t afford to pay. Would I qualify for medicare or medicade at all.
The rules for Medicaid eligibility are different for each state. Most states offer coverage for adults below a certain income level and people with disabilities. You need to visit your state website or enquirer at you local medicaid office and view their application requirements. Remember you can always apply if you have needs. Your state will review your circumstances against their requirements.
