went to the Richardson office of texas benefit regarding the application assistance for my sister as i was having trouble accessing her account online and i was not able to get hold of any agent over the phone. The staff there is so rude and disrespectful. Staff was looking with humiliating eyes at the people present as we were begging them. There was only 1 desk open for assistance and other 2 staff people were sitting at the desk, but they were not helping us. I stood in the line for 1 hour but still i was not called. I ultimately left as my son was hungry and i could not wait any longer. This type of behavior is so unprofessional and not acceptable. Government has provided with this welfare programs and we are in need that does not mean staff will look or treat us with disrespect.
