To check the status of your reapplied Medicaid case in Alaska, you can try the following steps:
Contact the Alaska Medicaid agency: You can reach out to the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) Medicaid office by calling (907) 465-3370. They should be able to tell you the status of your case and if it has been reopened for benefits.
Check online: The Alaska DHSS provides an online portal where you can check the status of your Medicaid case, known as AKOnline. You can access the portal through the DHSS website: https://dhss.alaska.gov/Pages/default.aspx
Follow up with the case worker: If you have a case worker assigned to your case, you can reach out to them directly and ask for an update on your case.
It’s important to follow up regularly and keep a record of all your interactions with the Medicaid office. If you’re having trouble getting a response or resolving the issue, you can also reach out to a local legal aid organization or an attorney specializing in Medicaid issues for assistance.
